We took the kids on their first river float today. We got in behind Mom's house and floated down to Pictured Rocks. They were really good. I knew Olivia would be ok, but I had my doubts about Deacon but he really surprised me. He stayed in the boat when he was suppose to, and stayed in the part of the water we told him to when we let them get out and play. We stopped at Tibs Mill and had a picnic and had brought stuff for them to play in the sand. We were on there for about 3 hours total. No one got burned or hurt, and they both left their life jackets on with no complaints, it was a good time.
