Happy New Year!

Happy 2008! I can't believe it's the start of another year already. Crazy!

We had a good New Years. We dropped the kids off with Grandpa and Grandma Besler in Worthington and then headed to Kara and Tony's in Dyersville. We had a drink at their house, at their bar in the basement that is pretty damn sweet, and then Kara, Tony, Josh, Rochelle, Sarah, Jim and I headed into Dubuque to Applebees to eat. We called ahead and they said the wait was 2 hours. We went in anyway, and it ended up being about 1 hour. We just sat at the bar and talked and had a couple drinks, so the wait wasn't too bad. The food was so good, I hadn't ate there in so long. We then went back to Dyersville and went to Desperados. It was a good time. We ran into Pete (pictured above with me and Kara) our old friend from way back that we hadn't been out with in like a year. We also saw Glen our other friend from way back that we hadn't seen since he joined the a couple years ago. That was a big surprise to run into them there and great to see them. We were home by 1:30. A very good night with our friends.
