Our First Leaf Pile this fall

Seemed sort of weird being out Sunday in 85 degree heat sweating my butt off raking up some leaves, not very fall like! The kids had so much fun playing in their pile though. They would run and jump in it, bury each other, and then I pulled over the slide we use for the pool and they were sliding into the leaves. The sliding lead to jumping from the top of the slide down into the leaves. Olivia is big enough, she would clear the slide. Deacon, however, would not. He would bounce off the slide. I kept telling him he was going to get hurt, but he insisted he wouldn't and kept on doing it until I finally made them come inside. They were sweaty and had leaves and dirt all over them.
